What are cookies?
Cookies perform numerous functions: for example, they allow websites to function, making them more efficient, keep products in the on-line shopping cart, keep the session active without having to login to the site used each time and also customise the user experience; in addition, they tell us which parts of our sites are visited, they help us evaluate the effectiveness of the searches made on the site, to help us improve our communications, our content and our products.
If you want to manually manage and/or check the cookies on your computer, you can contact the manufacturer of your browser for detailed information.
Cookies can be classified according to:
- duration: session or persistent cookies;
- origin: first-party or third-party cookies;
- purpose: technical, analytical or profiling cookies.
Cookies that expire at the end of a browser session (normally when a user closes their browser) are defined session cookies and are useful, for example, to store a user's purchase order or for security purposes, such as when you log into your internet banking or webmail account. Cookies that, on the other hand, are stored for a longer period of time (between one session and another) are called persistent cookies and are useful, for example, to remember user preferences or to offer targeted advertising.
The definition of first party or third party refers to the website or domain that installs the cookie. First-party cookies are installed directly from the website that the user is visiting, while third-party cookies are installed from a domain other than the one the user is visiting, for example in the event that the website incorporates elements from other sites, such as images, social media plug-ins or advertisements.
You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and set most browsers to prevent their installation. If you choose this option, however, you will need to manually change some preferences every time you visit the site and it is possible that some services or certain features may not be available.
Purpose of processing through cookies
Based on the purpose, cookies are divided into technical cookies, analytical cookies and profiling cookies.
Technical Cookies
These cookies are used by the Site to ensure its operation and easy and simplified browsing. For example, to remember your login details, or to store products in the shopping cart or wish list. These cookies are considered as strictly essential to browse and use the various features of our site. Without cookies, it is not possible for us to provide services such as shopping cart, purchases and billing. For these reasons, the user's prior consent is not required for their installation.
Analytical Cookies
These cookies, which can be first or third party, are installed to collect information on the use of the Site. In particular, they are useful for the statistical analyses of access or visits to the Site itself, and allow the Controller to improve its web structure, browsing logics and content. The information collected is used for statistical analyses and to improve site use as well as to make the content more interesting and relevant for users.
Profiling Cookies
These cookies, which can be first or third party, collect targeted information on how to use the site: they are data that allow the Controller to optimise the Site making it easier to browse.
These cookies can be installed on the user's terminal only if they have given their consent.
https://www.mollasrl.it DOES NOT use this type of cookie.

In particular, user IP addresses are pseudo-anonymised, through the insertion of the code 'ga ('set', 'anonymizeIp', true) provided by Google itself; furthermore, taking into account the data management policy declared by Google at link https://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html?hl=it, the data sharing options have been disabled in order to limit further uses.
